Tibidabo

The Tibidabo Amusement Park is one of the oldest in the world. For over 100 years on the top of the Tibidabo Mountain in Barcelona it has been offering to locals and visitors alike a great variety of rides and some of the most impressive views over the city of Barcelona.

As the weather in Barcelona allows it almost all year round, any time is good to go to the Tibidabo.

Some of the most popular rides are the hall of mirrors, the Witches and Wizards Den, originally known as the the aerial railway, which was the first ever ride in Tibidabo, the Atalaya or the Lookout Tower with its imposing 50-metre high metal structure, the Automatons and automatic machines and of course the plane, perhaps the most emblematic ride in the Park.

There are some good connections with public transport:

A shuttle bus (T2B) will take you from the Tibidabo-Vall d'Hebrón car park to the Tibidabo. You can get there by metro L3 or L5 and stop at Vall d'Hebrón.

A direct bus (T2A) from Plaça Catalunya, right at the corner with Rambla Catalunya, will also take you to the top of the Tibidabo Mountain.

Another option is by FGC, stop at the end of L7 (Avinguda Tibidabo) and right outside you can take the Tramvia Blau tram or the Bus 196 and once at the end station take the Tibidabo Funicular.

The last option is probably not the fastest but surely is the most romantic and you shouldn't miss the experience of travelling on an old tram along one of the most beautiful streets in Barcelona. It is important to note that it only runs during the weekend.
