'Only Chopín' is the exquisite musical event offered every Saturday evening at 'The World's Smallest Theater' in Barcelona. The concert pianist, master of improvisation, and award‐nominated film composer Luis de Arquer describes these exclusive and intimate concerts as inventive and satisfying. Set within Arquer's own home, the World's Smallest Theater (El Teatre més Petits del Món) offers nineteenth‐century ambience that perfectly suits the music of Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart, as well as the Arquer's own compositions and improvisations. The evening ends with the luxurious pleasure of a glass of champagne in the romantic candlelit garden. The price of admission to the Teatre més Petit del Món includes a piano concert in which the pianist and composer Luis de Arquer performs and comments on works by various classical authors and his own works in a magical space from 1890, for approximately one hour and 30 minutes. . After the concert, cava is offered to attendees in a garden surrounded by torches where they can chat with the artist.

Important Information

The Theater only has 35 seats and the tickets are not numbered so people who arrive first can reserve their place. Since the place is small, the acoustics are very good from all locations. We have devised a system by which the pianist's hands are projected onto the front wall so that everyone can see the execution of the musical works without problem. At the end of the concert, we offer cava to our clients in a private garden under the light of the torches where they can chat quietly with the pianist and composer Luis de Arquer.
