Description

Join a small group for an exciting and rewarding hike around the iconic Montserrat Mountain. After arriving at the Benedictine monastery, from the 11th century, simply set off to explore some beautiful encounters of this Natural Park. Meet your professional mountain leader and embark on your adventure through the hiking trails of Montserrat. Explore the magical formations as you wind through the dense boxwood nature. Learn and talk about Catalan culture and the history of the region. As you progress deeper into the mountain, get ready for the chance to bump into the Alpine Ibex, a wild mountain goat. Gaze around and try and spot some birds of prey. Take your time when you reach the majestic Basilica which hosts the Black Saint Virgin - La Moreneta. On the way out of the Monastery, stop at the small farmer's market and try some delicious locally produced cheeses, honey, and more.
