The Barcelona Aquarium is located in Port Vell, the city’s old harbor area, and is the world's most important marine leisure and education center dedicated to Mediterranean undersea life. A transparent 80-meter-long tunnel runs through the Oceanarium, making it possible for you to walk among sharks, gilt heads, morays, ocean sunfish, and many other species. Opening hours for the Aquarium in 2023: July 1st to September 10th, 2023: Daily, 10 AM - 9 PM. September 11th to November 1st, 2023: Daily, 10 AM to 8 PM. November 2nd to December 21st: Weekdays, 10 AM - 7 PM; Weekends, 10 AM - 8 PM. December 22 to January 7th, 2024: Daily, 10 AM to 8 PM. On December 6th and 8th, 2023, the aquarium will remain open until 8 PM. Opening hours for the Aquarium in 2024: January 8 to March 24, 2024: Weekdays, 10 AM - 7 PM; Weekends, 10 AM - 8 PM. March 25 to June 30, 2024: Daily, 10 AM to 8 PM. July 1st to September 8th, 2024: Daily, 10 AM - 9 PM. September 9th to October 31st, 2024: Daily, 10 AM to 8 PM.
